I Want To Be.......

Remember that the truest love,
is one where your love for each other is greater than your need for each other.

I want to be so many things for you.
I want to be someone who reminds you
Every single day how much you are loved.
I want to be someone who makes you happy.

I want to be someone you can trust
with absolutely everything: every feeling
you feel like sharing, every hope and worry,
Every joy and sorrow.
I want to be the person in the universe you know
You can always turn to.

I want to be someone you can laugh with
if you ever need to, and just be yourself with,
Anytime.
I want to be the one thing you are sure about.

I want to be someone who makes you smile
A million times more than I make you frown.
I want to make beautiful memories with you.
I want to see more sunsets with you than I could
Even begin to count.

I want to hold you and walk with you and say
A quiet thanks for you as many times as I possibly
Can... in my time on this earth.

I want to be part of your tomorrows.
I want you to be a part of every one of mine.

I want to be what you think of every time you think
Of happiness and devotion and love

If you’re not the one then why does my soul feel glad today?
If you’re not the one then why does my hand fit yours this way?

I'll never know what the future brings .
But I know you're here with me now.  
We’ll make it through and I hope you are the one I share my life with.
I don’t want to run away but I can’t take it, I don’t understand
